The Inaugural ceremony of the Innovation Centre was held on Sunday 1^st November at 2:15 pm at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Dubai, Innovation Centre, Block-B Ground Floor.  The center was inaugurated by Dr. HS Ballal, Pro Chancellor, Manipal University, India, in presence of Dr. Vinod Bhat, Vice Chancellor Manipal University, India , Dr. V. Surendra Shetty, Pro Vice Chancellor Manipal University , Mangalore Campus,  Dr. Narayana Sabhahit, Registrar Manipal University, India, Mr. Ravi Panchanadan Director & CEO Manipal Education (MENA) FZ LLC, Dubai , Dr. V.S Kota Reddy Academic President Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Dubai, Dr.S.K.Pandey , Chairperson , School of Engineering & IT , Manipal University , Dubai. This ceremony also attended by some of the industry experts from SHOBA Constructions, Al ASAS Information Technology group, and GlobeCom. This is an attempt to bring academia and industry closer to each other and enable to pursue new avenues of market-driven research , innovation , and participate in programs that will help to accelerate toward commercialization.
