Ahana Fatima Alex, a PhD Scholar from the School of Engineering and Information Technology (SOEIT) at MAHE Dubai, has been awarded the Best Poster Award at the 2024 Advances in Science & Engineering Technology (ASET), held at the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) Dubai Men's Campus on June 3rd.

 

Her achievement came in the International Scientific Poster Competition, a highlight of the 6th HCT International Multi-Conferences, which saw participation from over 40 active groups comprising hundreds of students from HCT and leading universities across the UAE. 

 

Ahana Fatima Alex not only won the Best Poster Award but also represented the only student from an Indian University at the competition. Her poster presentation drew immense praise for MAHE Dubai during the prize distribution ceremony, emphasizing the university's commitment to academic excellence and global participation.

 

Dr. Ravishankar Dudhe from MAHE Dubai and Dr. Vinoth from MIT provided invaluable guidance to Ahana Fatima Alex, contributing significantly to her success.
