COSW Club organizes a Breast Cancer Awareness Session

On the 18th of October, MAHE Dubai students of the Community Outreach and Student Well-being Club organized a breast cancer awareness session at the Auditorium, Block A.

The session was aimed at educating the students and staff about the importance of breast cancer screening and early detection. The event was open to all female students and staff, and around 50 students and staff members attended the session.

The session started with a presentation by Dr. Seema Choudhary, who introduced the audience to the importance of breast cancer screening and the different methods available. She also discussed the risk factors for breast cancer, including age, family history, and lifestyle choices.

Dr Seema Choudhary has been a gold medalist in her MBBS program and is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and is currently working with Aster Medical Clinic at Dubai Silicon Oasis.

After the presentation, a question-and-answer session was held, where the audience asked questions related to breast cancer. The session was interactive, and the audience actively participated in the discussion.
