  • CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Academic:

    • Focused to provide experiential learning to students in coursework.
    • Coordinating with the team for curriculum development of the existing and new programs.
    • Approachable to all, extend extra support to students who need academic help, inclusive in approach throughout academic life by sensibly supporting Determined students and parents
    • Synergize academia and industry through involvement of experts from industry for Guest Lectures/Seminars/ Reviews and site visits.
    • Organize exclusive tech talks and support students in activities like workshops – lighting workshop 2022 and 2019 or Summer School - Kollur Summer School in 2017 by MU, India and Sustainable Summer School 2015 by BUID.

     

    Examination:

    • Work closely with the Deputy Registrar’s office to coordinate and monitor Exam process to strengthen system and operate efficiently.
    • Play significant role in Deputy Registrar’s office in the implementation of exam in campus, streamlined exams which were completely virtual along with the ones partially in campus for practical courses.
    • The cyclic exam process is not limited to planning, conducting, evaluating, quality control but demands diligent coordination at several levels like MS Dynamics Team / Ms. Mariyam’s Office / Accounts office / students service office for exam related work along with Deputy Registrar’s Office.
    • Implementation of OBTL and alignment of course outcomes, objectives, assessments with program objectives with the university’s objective.
    • Function as connect between students, alumni, DR office & Ms. Mariyam’s office for issue of documents for higher studies.
    • Empathetically deal with students, parents along with Program coordinators and Chairperson regarding fee dues and coordinate with Deputy Registrar’s office and Accounts Department.
    • In charge of SoDA-AEC, Academic Enhancement Program.

     

    Administrative :

    • One of the coordinators of school’s annual event, MISD since its inception, which uniquely combines research presentations, workshops, panel discussions, awards, and other activities including cultural by experts from industry, academicians, students.
    • Plan academic calendar for the school along with internal tests.
    • Play vital role from the school to contribute in the Student Experience during and even after their learning journey at MAHE, Dubai from both academic and administrative aspects.
    • Coordinate with Program coordinators on lateral entries.
